A Splash in the Pool!

Team USA has made a splash in the pool. Both the men and women won their matches today. The women beat Colombia 3-0 and Brasil 3-0. The men beat Paraguay 3-0 and they were 2-0 up against Argentina when this blogger extracted herself from a 12 hour day at the courts.

The main draw positions from pool play will be available midday tomorrow. While USA has high hopes for two team Gold medals, both teams are unseeded as seedings were based on placement from last years Pan Am Champs - and USA did not attend. So, we have a few more matches to show our rightful place. All ye fans, have no fear, we are coming from behind but with a vengeance. At the days end tomorrow, we all look forward to dining with our biggest fan here, Ken Stillman. Ken arrived today and his support of Team USA is unwavering and much appreciated. Everyone should have their own Ken Stillman!
