US pushes Australia the full distance

The day after a hard fought win over Holland to qualify for the top 8, the U.S. Women's team bounced back to push 2nd seeded Australia the full distance.

In the # 2 spot Latasha khan (World Ranked #25) lost to Casey Brown (WR #7)
11-3, 11-5, 11-6

For the second day in a row against another current world top 10, Natalie Grainger fought from 2 games down to even the match 2 games all. Similar to yesterday's match Natalie saved 2 match balls (yesterday she saved 3 before losing in overtime) before winning against Rachael Grinham, the Australian #1 and World #5.
7-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7, 12-10

In the deciding match, Olivia Blatchford (WR #40) had a treat and built lots of experience in playing Sarah Fitzgerald, a 7 time world champion. Liv fought hard, but went down.

The US tomorrow (12/3) plays Egypt in the draw to determine spots 5th-8th
