Having lost in his first match to 9/16 seed Tyler Osborne of Canada, Edward Columbia has shown true focus and discipline throughout these World Championships. Against Belgium player Jan Van Den Herrewegan, Columbia played incredible squash to fight back from 2-0 down to eventually win in 5 games. His next macth was against Liam McClintock, fellow US Team member, and again Edward came back from 2-0 down. With 2 five game matches in his legs, Edward was unable to summon enough energy for his last match against Adam Aukland of England, losing in straight games. Like all the team members on his trip, Edward is only 16 and elegible for next years individual and team event.Sunday, July 17, 2011
